Highest Quality Food.

The most essential rung within our DNA is our high standard to serve fresh and quality ingredients. Ever since Harry and Esther Snyder opened the first In-N-Out Burger drive-thru in 1948, In-N-Out has been committed to providing our customers with the highest quality food, cleanliness, and customer service. The Snyder’s have embedded the importance of making things the old-fashioned way – no frozen, pre-packages or microwave food. From hamburger patty to fry, all of our ingredients are delivered directly from our own patty-making facilities and shipped right from the farm. We keep things simple and old fashioned because that’s the freshest way of them all.

California Roots.

We have California roots and we take pride in it. It all started in Baldwin Park over 75 years ago. We were the state’s first drive-thru hamburger joint and over the years we have stayed true to our West Coast identity, despite our growing popularity across the country. We are a California classic through and through with our California family ties, local ingredients, down to our palm tree lined cups.

Cultural Icon.

In-N-Out is not just a burger joint—it’s a cultural icon tied to Southern California’s vibrant lifestyle. Our palm trees out front, drive-thrus made for our car centered culture, and proximity to the beach and skate parks allow us to eat and breathe the essence of SoCal’s culture. In-N-Out is a place that welcomes skaters, surfers, locals, friends, and people from all walks of life. We want to be your go-to hangout for a quick pick me up or a post-surf tradition. Whether you’re cruising in your car or catching waves, we are honored to be a part of California’s rich culture and maybe be a staple in your local community.

Our DNA.

At In-N-Out, we cherish our SoCal roots, laid back way of life, and global influence. We could not be more excited for our home turf, Los Angeles, to be hosting the 2028 Olympic Games and be a part of the story! In celebration, we took part in LA28’s “Every ‘A’ Tells a Story” movement to highlight our DNA, our story, and our community. We are eager to share a little bit about our story with the rest of the world through our quintessential California burger experience. We welcome visitors from near and far, in hopes you love our hometown just as much as we do!
